good health

Almost every one of us are born with a healthy body, yet suffers various illness thereafter. It costs very little for our lives to start, but costs greatly for medical care until we pass away. All medical studies, researches and operations are run as business, or perhaps by business. We need them, even though we suffer from illness as well as the bill to recover our bodies. Therefore, I believe that we have treated our bodies in a wrong way so that we must get sick throughout our time.

Nothing better than be a diabetes patient myself - 30

I have said in the posting of May 23, 2008 about my voice and blur eyesight problem.

Since then, I asked my Chinese doctor to concentrate on the voice problem before the diabetes was over. Then he always asked me if I had spittle. I told him that only occasionally. He said that it would be better if I had more. If I had much spittle, my larynx (voice box) would be recovered very soon.

It took almost a month before something changed. I felt the heat in my mouth and have coughing for more than a week.

Then the two date earlier, I had blood with spittle. This happened once a day only. There is a medical term, Hemoptysis, for this type of symptom. From the Wikipedia, "Hemoptysis or haemoptysis (see American and British spelling differences) is the expectoration (coughing up) of blood or of blood-stained sputum from the bronchi, larynx, trachea, or lungs (e.g. in tuberculosis or other respiratory infections)".

I believe that my voice problem is due to the disorder of my larynx. With over thirty years of teaching and smoking, I must have hurt the larynx or it had accumulated with bad radicals or heat in Chinese medical term.

To release the radical or heat from the larynx is not easy. I shall find the answer later if the present change is really a sign of recovery. Of course, my voice has been somewhat better day by day in this period. I need to recover before September because I have to handle seminars and training courses within the last quarter of this year.
