good health

Almost every one of us are born with a healthy body, yet suffers various illness thereafter. It costs very little for our lives to start, but costs greatly for medical care until we pass away. All medical studies, researches and operations are run as business, or perhaps by business. We need them, even though we suffer from illness as well as the bill to recover our bodies. Therefore, I believe that we have treated our bodies in a wrong way so that we must get sick throughout our time.

Nothing better than be a diabetes patient myself - 24

Today my test is NORMAL. It is not a day to celebrate, since I have expected this result some weeks ago when my tests were one plus. Certainly, I need a lab test to confirm later. I prefer not to rush since there are some minor problems to treat.

In fact, last Wednesday, my eyes were red and aching and I could not focus. I understood that the 'heat' has spread to my liver and thus reflecting through my eyes. If you do not understand Chinese medication, you may not know why. Some may rush to doctor for treatment. That is a definite mistake unless the problem was due to infection. That is why we need to know our bodies and medical knowledge.

I knew that I needed rest especially my eyes. So I stayed away from my PC and rested for a few hours. When the aching stopped, I went to buy a bottle of Visine just to moisten my eyes. It is better the next day and I kept watching my eyesight. The condition has been better through not yet fully recovered. So I remained in bed for the morning and worked with my computer later in the evening.

With the test result today, it is certain that the last remaining problem would be over very soon.

The numbness has become very slight. The blur eyesight may be complicated with old age. I am checking what to do about it.

Nothing better than be a diabetes patient myself - 23

There are two things to say this time.

First, from the news in Hong Kong, it mentioned about a young man with diabetes. He had to give up everything, smoking, drinking etc. Certainly, smoking and drinking are the easiest targeted causes of bad health. Poor guy, I cannot see how he can live for the rest of his life. As said, it is a misery to live with enjoyment especially during the younger days. Should we have to enjoy more than our bodies need when we were young? Yes, if we live in the modern world. No, if we live in the poorest part of the world. There are lot of things to say about life and I do not want to discuss this now. In simple words, I believe that if one cannot enjoy life during the young age, he/she may behave badly in old age. The only difference between all of us is the degree of enjoyment only.

That is why I use this title for my case. If I do not have diabetes, other would not take my words. Being a diabetes patient myself, my way of treatment is the truth if I can recover. My tests are now between 25 to 50, that is, close to normal and one plus. Soon, I shall go to the medical lab for a professional test.

Next, my Chinese doctor told me that he has read an article saying that by applying insulin did not cure diabetes at all. This should be known a long time ago. The simple fact is our organ will not be normal if the body does not need it to perform. Evolution proves this fact to us. I have said that I never give up sugar and until now I just take one third less sugar for my coffee only. Starting this month, no afternoon coffee will be taken unless I feel the need. That means I continue to have three cups of coffee for the last four months.

The numbness problem is lessening now. It is not yet over and I have the confidence to fully recover within a short period.

My goal to post here is to let others aware of the problem, especially the correct way to treat it. There is too much information these days and most are fallacy or even wrong suggestion. Unfortunately, even the professionals are doing the same.

Nothing better than be a diabetes patient myself - 22

Last time, I have mentioned about medical mistakes. Certainly, there are a few good doctors. May be too few and we may not have any good one in the coming future. Just see "A Doctor's View of Medical Mistakes" and we can understand the hardship of being good and have conscience.

This may prove that my idea about medication long time ago is right. Who care about your life more than yourselves? Of course, there were more good doctors years ago. Now most medical services are run as business and if you do not agree, just see "Many Doctors, Many Tests, No Rhyme or Reason" written by a doctor and that is a proof.

Back to my diabetes, the test results remain stable, just one plus. But I want to avoid error because the Medi-Test that I use is due to expire in Sep. 2008. I have just bought a new pack that will be expired in May 2010 today for the next test.

The numbness before is concentrated on one toe in the beginning. Now the degree of numbness of that toe is decreasing while the numbness in other part of the feet appears. I cannot find any proof, but I believe that the reason of numbness is the cause of blood flow. It seems like something is diluting out. The numbness feeling is only in bedtime and somewhat in the morning when I wake up. Afterward, there is no more numbness in the daytime.

This recovery needs patience. I believe that there should not be a quick-fix. Otherwise, it is just like using medicine to get rid of all blood sugar and facing danger of brain and heart damage, much worse than taking care daily.
