good health

Almost every one of us are born with a healthy body, yet suffers various illness thereafter. It costs very little for our lives to start, but costs greatly for medical care until we pass away. All medical studies, researches and operations are run as business, or perhaps by business. We need them, even though we suffer from illness as well as the bill to recover our bodies. Therefore, I believe that we have treated our bodies in a wrong way so that we must get sick throughout our time.

Nothing better than be a diabetes patient myself - 7

Nearly two weeks time since I had the coughing problem. With about ten doses, I am almost recovered. Some may wonder why I do not find a quick fix solution. Again, this is due to the understanding of health problem. When we cough, it is not the problem with the throat only. This may be due to the lung or stomach. Ah! This is based on Chinese health knowledge that built from thousands years experience. I never accept quick fix because that works temporary and never cure completely. Just like pain killer, this type of treatment will lead your lives to misery.

The time required for recovery is also depended on our age. Just like the old Chinese saying, when you are young, you play down the illness, when you are old, illness play you down instead. We must be aware of our own age and let our patience grow with age too. The worst thing for many people, old ones, is trying to behave like youngsters.

There is one thing worth to say. About two weeks ago, when I was at the Chinese Doctor's clinic, there was an old patient with his wife. The Doctor had reminded his wife to monitor his drinking habit. I said "When a man reaches old age, he will be fortunate to have a caring partner. Woman may not need a man to take care of. Therefore, man is the weaker sex." All women there agreed happily, including the wife of that old man and the Doctor's female assistants.

I keep watching the numbness and my right eye's vision. They are improving slowly.
