Nothing better than be a diabetes patient myself
Yes, I am not joking. It is a personal experience going on now. This is not a short story since I want to find the actual symptoms from my memory. But that will be the topic later.
Frankly speaking, I have seldom visited any western doctors since grown up. Certainly, I did not have any body check too.
It was by chance when insurance company wanted me to have a simple check up a few weeks ago. Without any experience of this kind, I had taken two cups of coffee that morning. The insurance company knew that I am a smoker for years since the age of 15. The doctor checked my blood pressure and listened to the lung and heart beat before checking the forelegs. Nothing wrong, he said. Then for the urine test, he said I had four plus, a very high level of sugar in simple terms. Of course, I told him that I had two cups of coffee that morning. So he asked me to visit again the next day and not to take any food or drink except water from mid-night that day till the next test in the morning. So I did and he tested and advised me that the result remained the same. You had to take the blood test, he said. The lab was just a few doors away at the same floor.
Three days after, I called the doctor, his nurse told me that the same result for my blood test and it was confirmed that I had diabetes and asked me to see any doctor that I knew.
Therefore, I had to start searching for information from the net and from others. A good article is: Diabetes Mellitus.
One friend told my wife that he got a healing recipe, green guava fruit with pig pancreas soup.
So I start my own arrangement that includes:
taking Chinese medicine from a Chinese Doctor;
drinking the soup once to twice a week;
reducing the sugar for my coffee and trying to have two cups a day instead of three.
After two weeks, with eight doses of Chinese medicine, I use the Medi-Test Glucose by Macherey-Nagel this morning. The reading is 150. As I do not know how to compare, then I visit their site as well as other information.
Glucose-Test and What are mg/dl and mmol/l?
Then I confirm that my reading is two plus. Of course, we must not rely on one test. But at least this shows that improvement is real.
I shall continue to post here what happens later and the knowledge that I get from this valuable experience.
