What will cause the end of human? Pandemic.

According to various TV program, like 20/20 etc., there are a couple of possibilities. I may choose some to talk about.

Pandemic, not the bird-flu, but genetic modified virus made by some mad scientists. With the advancement of genetic technology, we may have such threat within a short time. There are many reasons to have some good ones turning bad. A few might be crazy enough to try such deadly sin.

There will be damage, especially the outbreak would be aware of after a couple of weeks and with traffic today, we might have hundred cities to handle. Such thing might cost the lives of thousands at least.

Yet, I do believe that once such case has been discovered, all governments would act together to stop the spreading of virus by all means including medical, quarantine etc. With computerized records, it is not impossible to trace any one with the chance of contacting the virus.

Even without vaccine, some of us may have the specific gene to stay alive and some of us may never contact with the virus.

From history, we know that natural evolved virus had weakness. Although we have not found the reason, but these entire virus had vanished suddenly. That means any living substance cannot last for long if not survive in a harmonic way.

I trust that genetic modified virus would be more deadly and more vulnerable because such virus was produced to kill and not to prosper. Throughout the history, there is never a living cell that can have both characters.

So, human race will not be vanished because of pandemic, natural or man-made.
